Miranda Daisy founded Perform Ability in 2009, after a single parent's simple request sparked what has become a thriving inclusive performing arts organisation on the Central Coast of NSW. Seventeen years on, Miranda's mission remains the same: every student deserves a teacher who is ready for them.

A performer, educator and advocate at heart, Miranda brings a rare blend of stage experience and inclusive teaching expertise to everything she does. Her performance career has taken her around the world, including two contracts with Universal Studios Japan (one as Show Captain), a revival of Kiss Me Kate in China, and a title as National Latin Dance Champion.

Miranda is the NSW State Dance Coordinator for Special Olympics Australia and the Official Access and Inclusion Partner of the Australian Dance Festival for 2025 and 2026. She has lectured at TAFE NSW and has delivered specialised training for NSW Department of Education and more, helping teachers across the country build the skills and confidence to include every student in their classroom.

Beyond Perform Ability, Miranda is the Executive Producer and Creative Director of DanceBop!, a preschool live-action series, and hosts The Daisy Chain Effect podcast, where she shares stories and insights from her work in inclusive arts education. She's also a working musician, performing with Daisy and the Dukes and various corporate bands.

Miranda lives on the Central Coast of NSW, where Perform Ability continues to grow — one ready teacher, and one empowered student, at a time.
